I like to design experiences.

I began my career in visual and digital design before moving into product design, drawn to the challenge of making complex systems easier to understand and use. Over the years, I worked across consumer experiences, financial services, healthcare, and enterprise technology, including roles with The Telegraph, Google, Macmillan Cancer Support and Lloyds Banking Group.

I then joined IBM, working on Cloud Data & AI and designing for technical users navigating increasingly complex products and workflows. From there, I moved into design leadership at Encode before joining Elastic, Snyk and EngFlow where I worked on developer and security products at scale. These experiences shaped much of how I approach design today: understanding complex domains deeply, working closely with engineering and product, and using design to influence not just the interface, but the direction of the product.

I later joined Decentriq as Head of Product Design, managing the design team and leading design for privacy-enhancing technology and helping translate highly technical concepts into products people could understand and trust. Today, I lead Product Design at JupiterOne, where my work spans product strategy, AI, design systems, and human-AI interaction. At both Decentriq and JupiterOne I redesigned and shipped the design system. I'm particularly interested in how AI changes the way we design and build products, and how we can turn that technology into experiences that are genuinely useful and beautiful.

Alongside my product work, I've spent more than seven years mentoring designers and founders, helping people develop their craft, navigate their careers, and connect design decisions to product and business outcomes.

I'm also a digital artist and lead Garage 68, an experimental artist collective exploring the intersection of art, technology, sound, and human experience. It's a different kind of design practice, but one that feeds directly into how I think about interaction, experimentation, and the relationship between people and technology. Take a look at some of my visual installations.

I was delighted to work with Annalisa! I worked with her on a team whose audience is very technical and it requires deep understanding of the developer's goals and motivation. Annalisa joined and quickly helped structure the user research and discovery. This resulted in bringing valuable insights in a short amount of time, which helped us to derisk features and focus the work on the most impactful items.
